How long would you survive in prehistoric times?
Okay, here is the thing, I am an extremely logical person. I think more on the rational side of things. It can be hard sometimes for me to not take these questions too seriously. Anyway, to answer this question, how long would you survive in prehistoric times quickly and simply, I would not survive, period. I wouldn’t survive because I didn’t have wifi, or technology, or indoor plumbing. I wouldn’t survive solely because first of all, I rely heavily, extremely heavily on modern medicine to be able to function and secondly I am a vegetarian. I am not planning on going out to hunt down my food anytime soon. Like, I enjoy my tofu and salads too much. There would be no hope for me to survive. None at all.
Now, let’s take a minute and really think about this. Let’s say this is a prehistoric time that includes dinosaurs. Would we just be hanging out with the dinosaurs? Are we going to befriend the dinosaurs? Have pet dinosaurs, if that’s a thing? Guard dinosaurs instead of guard dogs? Riding dinosaurs into battle? Would the dinosaurs just eat us, picking us off one by one? There are so many what-ifs to this situation. We would need to spend our lives in fear, be on guard at all times to protect ourselves from these prehistoric beasts. Life like we know it would be entirely different. We would need to band together because there is safety in numbers. We would need to learn to lie low and hide from the dinosaurs. Finding safe spaces to build our civilizations. We would also need to learn quickly what plants are edible and which plants we could use as medicine. Also what about the asteroid the killed the dinosaurs, wouldn’t that just kill us off anyway so in a sense nobody would survive? So in conclusion, I really don’t think there is any chance of humans surviving alongside the dinosaur and in turn, no one would survive in a prehistoric time period.
