What are three goals you have for now and what are three goals you have for the future?

I have also struggled to make goals for myself. I tend to just live day by day than to think further down the line. The past couple of years really started to change all of that for me and I found myself making goals for myself. It’s exciting to have something to look forward to! The following are my three goals for now.  My first goal is to have my book published. I have been working so hard on this book I have been writing on and off since 2015. A couple of years ago I have started to take this book seriously and actually put more effort into finishing it. I have written over a hundred pages and I am so close to 40,000 words. Its mind boggling! I have never written so much in my life before! It’s so crazy to think that this is a hundred pages of my own words from this world I have created in my mind. The fact we have this ability is amazing. I know I have a long way to go with it but I hope to have it published within the next couple of years. My next goal is to graduate from college. I can’t believe I am doing this, I am going back to college! I just found out that I have been accepted! It’s been about four years since I have been in college but I am really eager to get back to it and further my education and really put myself on a path towards a real career. The third goal I have for now is to get this blog up and running! I want to see this blog really have an impact on people and have this be a place for people to connect and to communicate. I really believe that social media allows such vast and different groups of people to come together. I want to promote discussions and meet new people here. So to sum up this the three goals I have for now would publish my book, graduate college, and see this blog grew to be a beautiful community.

Coming up with three goals for the future was fairly difficult but applying to college again really gave me a lot to think about. My first goal for the future is that I want to have an amazing career. I know that’s vague and pretty much what everyone wants. I want to be excited to wake up in the morning and I want to live a life that has a meaning and a purpose. I want to be able to put my name out there, to be able to say this is who I am and this is what is what I stand for. We have a one in a billion chance of being on this earth and I don’t want to waste my opportunity to share my voice. My next goal is to work for Disney, I know once again this is probably a goal for most people. I have always loved Disney and am a huge Disney nerd. I went to Disney a lot growing up and it never really crossed my mind that I could even work there. As part of my major in college, we need to have an internship and there is this very small possibility I could potentially internship at Disney. It would be such an incredible and unreal opportunity. I think I would gain so much experience if I was to be able to work for Disney. My third goal, once again like everyone else, is that I want to travel. The United States is such a vast wide space with so many nooks and crannies and places off the beaten path that I want to explore. I only have been down the east coast and only to two states out west. Something I would love to do is have a map of the United States and have a picture of me and whoever I am traveling with cut out to the shape of that state that we are in and then paste it on the map. Just look it up on Pinterest, you’ll see what I mean. I have a pipe dream to buy a van and drive across the country, but as I said, a pipe dream. To bring it all together my three goals for the future are to have an amazing career, work for Disney, and to travel America.
